Great narcotic, psychedelic and ethereal track by UK indie guitar band AR Kane. "Green Hazed Daze" is taken from the Love-Sick EP, released in October 1988. AR Kane's innovate music was a seminal influence on later developments such as shoegazer/dream pop, trip hop and acid house. Bands such as Long Fin Killie, Slowdive, Dubstar and Seefeel have cited AR Kane as an influence. Alex Ayuli from the band: "We were a force of ideas. We helped to get rid of stereotypes. In the '80s black men were doing soul, reggae or rap, not psychedelic dream rock. We opened doors for bands to be more experimental."

This verison is actually from the 'rem'i'xes' album of material from 'i' as it is only music by them I have on CD and easiest to copy onto my computer. This track was covered by Tahiti 80 and I thought it might be nice for people to hear the original on YouTube as well.
First Anime Music Video I've done. I didn't do too much with this. I did it to pass the time today. Finished it in about 30 minutes with numerous break periods due to me getting distracted very easily. Well the anime is Serial Experiments Lain, and the song is "Lollita" from AR Kane. Song is owned by Pioneer Studio and AR Kane has the rights to their music. As for the video itself. Nothing special. No real plot to the video itself...just random clips thrown in to some nice music. MARS - Pump Up The Volume "Pump Up the Volume" is a song and the only single by British recording act MARRS. It was a number-one hit in many countries and is generally regarded as a significant milestone in the development of British house music and music sampling. The single was the product of an uneasy collaboration between reggae group Colourbox and alternative rock band AR Kane, two groups signed to the independent label 4AD. The link-up was suggested by label founder Ivo Watts-Russell after the two groups had independently sounded him out about the possibility of releasing a commercially oriented dance record, inspired by the American house music that was starting to make an impact on the British charts. When the M|A|R|R|S project was first released early in 1987, the popularity of the style of the song had already started to grow. Just as important to M|A|R|R|S in the long run was the underground dance scene which was beginning to emerge in the UK, particularly records such as "Say Kids What Time Is It?" by Coldcut and "All You Need Is Love" by The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu.
